The author, Mark McWhorter, lives near Birmingham, Alabama with his wife and four of their six children. Mark and Teah have been homeschooling for 19 years. They own and operate Chula Vista Books which supplies homeschooling materials as well as sound Bible related materials. Mark works in open heart surgery recovery at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He has been on several mission trips to Central America, Europe and Ukraine.
