- Lord, help us stay focused on spiritual things
- eternal promises and truly believe
- those revelations found in the scriptures
- which we've so humbly received.
- Your word is our daily manual
- that teaches us how we must live
- allowing Christ's way be our way
- learning how to love and to forgive.
- It gives us awesome power
- and strength to overcome
- Satan's temptations set before us
- as our daily life's race is run.
- God promises eternal salvation
- to all who believe his word and obey
- keeping Christ the center of our lives
- guiding our footsteps, so we'll not stray.
- We must never allow anyone or anything
- to separate us from God and our reward
- spending a glorious eternity in heaven
- something we've spent our whole life towards.
