What to do when you feel Tempted

(1 Corinthians 10:12-13 KJV)
(12) Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. (13) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God {is} faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear {it}.

(Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV)
(14) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast {our} profession. (15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as {we are, yet} without sin. (16) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

(Hebrews 2:18 KJV)
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

(2 Peter 2:9a KJV)

(Romans 6:14 KJV)
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(Psalm 119:11 KJV)
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

(James 1:13-14 KJV)
(13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (14) But every man is tem- pted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and entic- ed.

(Proverbs 28:13 KJV)
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh {them} shall have mercy.

(1 John 1:9 KJV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us {our} sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV)
(8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (9) Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accompl- ished in your brethren that are in the world.

(Ephesians 6:10-11,16 KJV)
(10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

(James 4:7 KJV)
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(1 John 4:4 KJV)
Ye are of God, little children, and have over- come them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

(James 1:2-3,12 KJV)
(2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; (3) Knowing {this}, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (12) Blessed {is} the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

(Jude 1:24-25 KJV)
(24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present {you} faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, (25) To the only wise God our Saviour, {be} glory and majesty, dom- inion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

(1 Peter 1:6-7 KJV)
(6) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: (7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
