B. W. Johnson
The People's New Testament (1891)

ABOUT THE ELECTRONIC EDITION.

      B. W. Johnson's The People's New Testament: The Common and Revised Versions, with References and Colored Maps, with Explanatory Notes was first published in two volumes by the Christian Board of Publication (St. Louis, MO: 1889, 1891). A two-volumes-in-one reprint was issued by Gospel Light Publishing (Delight, AR: ca. 1950).

The electronic edition does not include the texts of the King James and the Revised (1881) versions of the Bible. Pagination in the electronic version has been represented by placing the page number in brackets following the last complete word on the printed page. Inconsistencies in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and typography have been retained; corrections offered in the electronic edition for accidental corruptions in the printed text have been documented in the Addenda and Corrigenda section.

This electronic edition of B. W. Johnson's The People's New Testament is in the public domain and may be freely distributed and used for personal, non-commerical, or commerical purposes. Although no permission is required for use of this work, the editor does appreciate hearing about how it is being used to promote Bible study and to honor our Soon-Coming King. The commentary was first published online with Dr. Hans Rollmann's Restoration Movement Texts at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Addenda and corrigenda are earnestly solicited.
