Effective January 1, 2007, the elders of the Central
Church of Christ in Martinsburg, WV, Danny Bowers, Don Deitrick,
and Mark Everson will assume oversight of Jody Apple's work with

TheBible.net and Video Bible Institute.
TheBible.net exists to help edify God's kingdom
and spread the gospel of Christ. The site features an ever-growing
library of online videos provided by World Video Bible School
(www.TheBible.net/video). WVBS's new evangelistic video, Searching
For Truth, is also viewable online at www.TheBible.net/searchingfortruth
or www.SearchingForTruth.org. Users may freely download and save
videos and mp3 audio files.
In addition to accepting oversight of brother
Apple's work with TheBible.net, the Central elders have accepted
oversight of Video Bible Institute with Apple as director. Church
Horner founded VBI about ten years ago as an offshoot of WVBS.
It is a self-paced correspondence school with a "preacher
training" curriculum emphasizing faithful, conservative Bible
teaching. Its course of study is designed for the student who
wants a focused, organized, intensive study of the Bible. Students
view WVBS videos, memorize scripture, write research papers, complete
assignments, and take tests (which are mailed to VBI for grading).
VBI's work is especially important for those who are unable to
attend a brick-and-mortar preacher training school. Under brother
Horner's direction, the Institute has enrolled more than 1,000
students. Jody will assume the directorship of VBI in January
2007.
Though WVBS will continue to provide DVDs to students
who wish to rent or purchase their own copies, the entire Video
Bible Institute curriculum will soon be available online at www.videobibleinstitute.com.

To carry out this combined work, the Central elders
are working with Jody to raise operating expenses for the site
