The 2007 WVC lectures at Pennsboro were encouraging
and edifying. I was very happy to see so many of our readers in
attendance. We, again, thank the elders of the Pennsboro congregation
for overseeing this event, and Terry Jones for his tireless work
in directing it.
We were greatly delighted to read the announcement
that the Gospel Broadcasting Network (GBN) is now being televised
on DirecTV, Channel 323, 8:00 A.M. Eastern and on Dish Network,
Channel 9407, Noon Eastern! These programs have the potential
of reaching 50-60 million individual souls! Tune in; tell all
of your friends, advertise it in your local media to all of your
community; and send your financial support to the elders of the
Highland church of Christ, PO Box 1484, DALTON, GA 30722. We were
also overjoyed to learn that the publication "House-to-House/Heart-to-Heart,"
edited by Alan Webster, presently has a circulation of about 2+
million! To God be the glory!
Our sincere desire is to be a part of all faithful
efforts to preach and to teach the saving gospel of Christ to
the lost and dying world. Our effort with WVC is so very
small. Yet, we believe it is worthy of all of our efforts and
prayers. Our circulation last month was 2,712. I believe we can
and ought to grow. We invite you to join with us in prayer, in
sending the paper to others, and in showing it to as many new
