The Gospel of Christ, an evangelistic effort
of the McLish Avenue Church of Christ in Ardmore, Oklahoma, has
announced that it is searching for a faithful Christian man to
serve as the director of the work. The McLish Avenue elders recently
announced that they are looking for a man who: (a) is approximately
35 years old or older; (b) is an extremely knowledgeable Bible
student; (c) is an excellent public speaker; (d) presents himself
well on television; (e) has a good radio voice; (f) has experience
at handling correspondence, overseeing a staff, and raising funds;
(g) is willing to travel on behalf of the work; and (h) can work
under an eldership. The elders noted that they are looking for
someone who is self-motivated, and who can work with them on a
daily basis to "spread the whole Gospel to the whole world."
The Gospel of Christ, which is now in its
second decade of operation, prepares and distributes video and
audio programs that are shown or heard on television and radio
stations around the country and around the world. In addition,
TGOC maintains a popular Website (www.thegospelofchrist.com)
that is currently receiving more than 2,000,000 page-hits a year.
The Website contains all of the video and audio programs, as well
as written transcripts of the programs (with study questions),
Bible quizzes, materials in Spanish, etc.
