GALLIPOLIS, OH 45631 Thanks for the great job you and Nancy do in faithfully publishing WV Christian each month. BRIGHTON, TN 38011 - ... The publication continues to present doctrinally sound articles ... With the modernization of "the pattern" and the liberal attitude toward His authority, our need to propound the unsearchable riches of God is demanded. That you are presenting issue by issue. Especially plain, logical, and faithful to the Word were several of the past month's issue ... the article of George Erwin and those by Charles Aebi and Roger Rush really stood out to me. It really encourages, admonishes, and edifies me as I strive to live for Jesus.

I am walking with some improvement. A walker is necessary ... a wheel chair is justified if not required if I go outside the house ... A teaching privilege has been granted to me by the church of our Master in Covington, TN. I praise Him daily for enabling me to pursue this wonderful assignment ... My daughter and son-in-law, David and Heather Keith, are faithful children of the heavenly Father. They have moved me into their home; providing me with my own private room containing every comfort they can afford and that I have room for ... May our trust in Him sustain our faithfulness, maintain our love for Him, for our Christian family, and for our enemies and keep our hope fast until He comes or we die. The work you do helps to undergo the opposition, resist the slanderer, and draw near to God. Because of Him, Jim Mitchell, 161 Patriot Cove.

ST. ALBANS, WV 25177 The work at Washington Street is going well. Since beginning work here last June, we have had three baptisms, eight restorations, and three to place membership. We began a new program in December of sending letters and cards to visitors, unfaithful members, and shut-in members. Over 400 have been mailed. We have a great spirit of cooperation among the members. We have a huge Bible Correspondence Course program, in which we have, at times, graded over 600 lessons each week. We encourage anyone to enroll or contact us about what is offered. This year I will hold gospel meetings in Chester, WV March 16-20, Dewey Avenue in St. Marys April 6-10, Berkeley Springs September 7-11, and a Church Growth Weekend Series with the Milford, Ohio church of Christ September 13, 14. Washington Street will be conducting a Family Vacation Bible School June 16-20 and will be hosting the 22nd Annual Greater Kanawha Valley Lectures August 5-8.
