An Update

Last month we published the urgent need of a liver transplant for little 3-year-old Dalton Dodd. We are very happy (and sad, too) to report that a donor was found, from another child who had died. We have learned that, through the unselfish donations by the family of the deceased child, several other children were greatly helped. Dalton’s transplant was highly successful, and he is recovering well at the McDonald House in Pittsburgh! Roger Dodd, a member of the Ten Mile church of Christ, Clarksburg, conveys the sincere thanks of Dalton’s father, Lloyd Dodd, to all who have responded. The family greatly appreciates the many prayers and cards and letters they have received. The doctors are amazed by the recovery of Dalton, and it appears he will be returning home much sooner than anyone expected. Their address is 10 Franklin Dr., Bridgeport, WV 26330.

The West Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind is located in Romney. The Romney church of Christ is seeking the songbook, Praise For The Lord, in Braille. Do any of our readers know whether this hymnbook has been written or where it may be written in Braille? If you have any information about this, please contact the church at PO Box 934, Romney, WV 26757.
