Sixty-Fourth Annual Ohio Valley Lectureship

Brent Gallagher

The Oakwood Road Church of Christ in Fairmont, West Virginia, will host the Ohio Valley Lectureship August 21-23.The theme for the lectureship is “The Clash of World Views.”The focus of the lectureship is on how one’s philosophy of life affects his actions.

There is little doubt we are living in times of difficulty and doubt concerning many things. Most importantly, we are facing philosophical attacks on the existence of God, the deity of Jesus, and the inspiration of the Bible.Questions of morality such as abortion and homosexuality seem to be an almost daily topic in our newspapers.

It is our desire that these lessons will inform and strengthen Christians and help Christians reach those outside of Christ.

The Friday and Saturday sessions will be held at Valley Worlds of Fun, which is conveniently located off I-79.Those coming from the south will need to take the Kingmont exit, 133, off the interstate. They will need to turn north on Pleasant Valley road.Valley Worlds of Fun is located about one mile on the right. Those coming from the north will need to take the Pleasant Valley exit, 135, off the interstate. They will need to turn south on Pleasant Valley Road.Valley Worlds of Fun is located about one mile on the left.
