The Sinful Homosexual Agenda

 The government of the United States of America fell to another all-time ethical low in morality on June 1, 2009, when President Barack Obama signed the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month Proclamation. How do we know this proclamation is wrong?

 First, the Holy Bible is the Word of God. All scripture is given by the inspiration of God through His Holy Spirit upon holy men of God. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17. The Bible gives us all things that pertain to life and godliness. 2 Peter 1:3, 20, 21. 

 Second, the Bible clearly defines sin. (1) Romans 14:23: “But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.” (NKJV) If we do what we oppose, we commit sin. (2) James 4:17: “Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” (3) 1 John 3:4: “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” The New Testament is Christ’s “perfect law of liberty.” James 1:25; 2:12. (4) 1 John 5:17: “All unrighteousness is sin …” God’s Holy Word (the Bible) is righteousness. Psalm 119:172. God has established His mark for human behavior. When we miss that mark and violate His law – when we rebel against His standard, we become guilty of sin. We, then, are condemned as sinners.

 What, according to the Bible, is God’s will or mind concerning homosexuality? What did the prophets and writers of the Old Testament teach concerning homosexuality? What does the New Testament of Jesus Christ teach concerning homosexuality?

 Dear friends, the Bible is very clear in its condemnation of the homosexual “lifestyle.” Homosexual acts are sin! Why should we have pride in sin? Notice:

• God destroyed the homosexual inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone. Genesis 13:13; 19:1-29. (Sodomy is homosexuality.)
• God commanded, in the Law of Moses, that homosexuals were to be cut off from among their people. Leviticus 18:22-30.
• The apostle Paul condemned homosexual acts as dishonorable, vile, unnatural, shameful, debased, not fitting, unrighteous, immoral, and worthy of death. Romans.
• The apostle Paul listed fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, and sodomites among those who are unrighteous and said these will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10.
• The apostle Paul listed adultery, fornication, and moral uncleanness as works of the flesh and said that those who practice them will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21.

 No, friends, people are not born to be homosexuals. Science has not found such evidence. (http://www.onenewsnow.com/Culture/Default.aspx?id=528376). Yet, in spite of these truths, President Obama and his administration are pushing their ungodly homosexual agenda. From the White House web site (http:www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/civil_rights/) Obama published his goals for Lesbians, Gays, Bi-Sexuals, and Transgenders: To Expand Hate Crimes Statutes, to Fight Workplace Discrimination, to Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples, to Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage, to Repeal Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell, and to Expand Adoption Rights.

 We, as Christians, will continue, in spite of all threats, warnings, White House memorandums, and presidential proclamations, to teach the truthfulness of God’s Word. No, we do not support nor advocate any physical attack upon any person or persons, but we will speak as the oracles of God in condemning all sin in our lives and in our society. Homosexuals – just as thieves, drunkards, adulterers, etc. – must turn from their sin. They, too, can be washed, sanctified, and justified in the blood of Jesus Christ through faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, repentance of all sin, and baptism into Christ for the remission of all sin. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.

 Truly, “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34. We pray that President Obama, his administration, members of Congress, and our nation will, yet, turn back to God before it is too late. –Editor.
