Around The State

MANSFIELD, OH 44906 – Our work with the Brookwood Way church continues to prosper and to show signs of growth. Attendance is improving; we are having a real good Personal Work program, which has resulted in several Home Bible studies. Since my last report, there have been two baptisms and there have been several who have returned to us who had left the congregation over the past few years because of the instability of the church here. In October, we had our annual homecoming. We had 179 present that morning. Former members from about seven states attended as well as from our local community. About 150 stayed for dinner, and we had about 160 present for the afternoon singing, at which time we had many area congregations represented. Lord willing, the first of the New Year we plan to begin using House To House/Heart To Heart as an outreach in our community. If you know of anyone living in our area who should be worshipping with us, please keep us informed. We pray that God will richly bless all faithful brethren abundantly in the New Year. –Don Cooper, 95 Lynn Dr.

EAST POINT, GA 30344 – Enclosed are two … money orders. Thanks again for all that you and your workers do to spread the gospel. I hope you and your family have had a good year. Our car was stolen recently, but I consider this a minor setback when compared to other problems. Thanks again. –Ray Jackson, 1068 Jefferson Ave.
