Does your congregation need hymnals? The church of Christ in DuBois, PA recently purchased new hymnals and we would like to donate our old hymnals to a congregation in need. We have 65 books to offer, all in fair to good condition. The particular hymnal is titled, Songs of the Church, compiled and edited by Alton H. Howard. If your congregation is interested, please call (814) 371-7787 and leave a message or else email Keith at firstname.lastname@example.org
Used Song Books Available
I have approximately 75 song books (Christian Hymns III) that I would like to give to some church or person that has use for them. If any interested party would call me on my cell (304-615-3193). I just do not feel right in destroying them and we no longer have use for them. -Terry Garner (36th Street church of Christ, Vienna, WV.)
FORT GAY, WV 25514 – Our Gospel Meeting with Warren Kenney of Martinsburg was a good one. He preached on the theme, “The Holiness of God.” Very good crowds. Five of our wayward members came; area congregations supported the meeting very well. Warren is a sound and solid man and I certainly recommend him for gospel meetings. I will preach at Winfield Nov 2, and on the lectureship at Bucyrus, OH Nov 13. We begin our Winter Series Nov 4 and will study, “Gaining More Appreciation for the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit” each Thursday, 6-8:00 PM. Two restorations in Oct; two new families attending. I continue on the radio and with my newspaper article. -Jim Farley, PO Box 471.
