Albert E. Farley
We write these words at the dawning of a new year of service to God and to Christ in His church; 2011 is upon us! This issue marks the beginning of our 18th year of publication. We begin this year as in years past, with the sincere prayer unto God to help us and with the genuine hope in the power and promises of His holy Word, the Bible. We pray, if it is His will, that we may continue to grow in number and in service. The world continues to grow darker with each day, but the eternal Word of God shines more brightly and will stand forever. We are thankful for His love and kindness, and we dedicate ourselves to the proclamation of the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5, 6
By the grace of God, we were able to maintain our monthly circulation above 2,800 copies in 2010. December’s circulation was 2,830. With this encouragement and with a desire to increase the borders of our service, we have set our goal of achieving 2,900 copies per month in 2011. Will you help us? To encourage our readers to do so, we are offering, as a token of our appreciation, a free copy of Phil Grear’s book, Probing the Prophets, to all who send in 5 new subscriptions. Will you help?
May 2011 be the best year of your life! May Jesus find all of us watching, waiting, and ready if He should come this year. –Albert.
