WEIRTON, WV 26062 – Thank you very much for a great spiritual paper. I like to read just a little bit every day with my spiritual devotion but it is so good I finish the paper the same day I get it … I love the paper logo Montani Semper Liberi in Christo. I wear it on my sweatshirts and have it on my business cards. It gives me a chance to speak to people about being free in Christ. –Darlene McKinley, 129 Joseph Blvd.

HUTTONSVILLE, WV 26273 – I enjoy the articles and things in the WVC very much. Your 18 years of doing the paper I am sure has helped the lost to see light and souls have been saved! The prison ministry: we have 10 to 15 average attending and 14 have been baptized here since I have been here (11/9/05). I know God is in control and His Will will be done. I have learned much patience and closer to wife, family, and church folk than I believe I ever could have been if I had been out there with all of you. Yes, also much closer to our Lord and trusting Him, for much good has come from the time in here … -Dennis Burch 24333, HCC PO Box 1. (Editor’s note: We are so very thankful for our brother Dennis and his family! We rejoice in his faithful work among the prisoners over the years. He is making a real, eternal difference in the lives of many.)

Port Clinton church of Christ

Help is needed for the little congregation at Port Clinton, Ohio, 45 minutes west of Lorain, Ohio. The need is due to the recent death of their minister, Gary Boling. The congregation is left with about 4 or 5 women and one man. The man is brother Emmet Estep, who has little previous preaching experience. Now he is burdened with the preaching, Bible Study, leading worship services, and the treasury. The congregation has a small meetinghouse which seats 60 or 65 people. They are struggling to keep the doors open. Port Clinton is located on the shores of Lake Erie, and is a vacation mecca in the warmer months. It lies about midway between Sandusky and Toledo. The little congregation is receiving a small amount of assistance from two congregations in adjacent counties. What is needed is someone with support to do evangelistic work on a daily basis, and some financial assistance. This would be a worthy work to be included in some congregation’s missionary budget. A mail contact: Emmet Estep, % Church of Christ, 3rd and Hayes St., Port Clinton, OH 43452. 1 (419) 732 3289.

WADSWORTH, OH 44281 – We have begun a local access TV program, “Bible Talk,” on WCTV in Wadsworth. It is available via Inter Net at my.pegcentral.com (do not type “www” in the address bar). We are preparing for our Spring Gospel Meeting with Terry Jones on the theme “One-on-One With Jesus” from April 15-19. Also, we are looking for extra copies of V.E. Howard’s songbook, Church Gospel Songs & Hymns, with the notation “Copyright 1978, 1983, Third Printing” on the title page. Perhaps a congregation may have copies from which they switched to another book that are still in excellent condition. If you have copies of this edition and you would be interested in getting them to a congregation where these will be put to use, please let us know. wadsworthchurchofchrist@gmail.com David R.
