BENIN CITY, EDO STATE, NIGERIA Please my brother in Christ, I know that it cost you a lot to print such a doctrinally sound journal, but the truth is that I am a young man of 29 years working as a gospel preach in my locality here. I am not able to afford to pay the cost. I am pleading for a free subscription. Just think of it. Your journal is a way to reach the world with the gospel. You as a person may never come to my city to preach the gospel, but if your journal reaches me here regularly, your evangelistic efforts has reached my state as well, the journal will help me in my study, in the teaching of Bible study classes in my congregation, and it will also help me in teaching the lost and confronting religious dogma. The truth is that you can never know what good your journal will do to me and those that I teach the gospel until we get to Heaven ... I thank you for helping me in this way. Andrew Osatohamwen, Church of Christ, PO Box 12071. (Editor's Note: We are honored to send the paper to our brother in Nigera.)

FOLEY, AL 36536 I enjoyed the reprint of Brother Clifton Inman's article "Standing" in the July, 2004 issue. I was a student at OVC in the late 70's and took many classes under him. I learned much from Brother Inman and even though rightfully he has "gone home," I am sure the Ohio Valley misses this great man of the cross. I would like to focus on the last paragraph in the article. I may not be the most favorable person when I make the next comments, but I truly try to "hold up the banner of Jehovah" in my life. I also try to "speak the truth in love." For many years and even when I was there, the school was just as brother Inman stated in the last paragraph. But within the past two to three decades, the administration, faculty, and staff have not done everything to "hold up the banner of Jehovah." Therefore I wonder if the students and alumni of the past two or three decades will all totally do this? If they have been grounded properly at home, they may and might just endure. After leaving Parkersburg I attended and graduated from another Christian sponsored institution which is also leaning away from brother Inman's writings. I have endured because I was grounded properly at home. Thank you once again for the reprint and I hope to see more when I have the privilege of getting a copy of your publication. I am a native mountaineer who loves the truth and my home state. For the cross, Edward A. Hale. gry_chp_21@earthlink.net
