MORGANTOWN, WV 26501 Dear Brethren, This letter is to inform you of a new congregation of the Lord's church in Morgantown. The University church of Christ began a few months ago. It is presently meeting in Westover on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 and on Thursday night from 7:00-8:00. The present meeting place is easily accessible from I-79. Take the Westover exit, 152, off I-79 and go toward Westover. After going about a tenth of a mile, there will be a McDonald's on the right. Turn right at the McDonalds and go about 100 yards and veer to the right. Follow that road about another 100 yards to an office building on the left. The University church is presently meeting in the right side of the building. There is a sign in the window advertising the church. We ask that you make your congregation, and especially, any students who are attending WVU, aware of this new church. We will do all we can to provide a support system for any students and help in any way we can. If you are ever in our area, feel free to come and worship with us. Also, if you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with any of the contacts listed on this letter. Contacts: John Board, Peter Ray Cole, Brent Gallagher, Steve Snider, Chet Hale, Larry Harbert, Jerry Yoho. Mailing address: University church of Christ, c/o Frank Kooser, 1036 Curtis Ave. (Editor's note: Our prayers and best wishes are with our brothers and sisters of this new congregation.)

MARTINSBURG, WV 25401 The work at Martinsburg continues to prosper. I will soon begin my nineteenth year with this good congregation. We just recently conducted our yearly Vacation Bible School. Brother David Everson of the Belington congregation was with us to speak to our teens and adults. He spoke on Creationism each evening. What a splendid job he did! I would highly recommend him to do this series anywhere. It is a wonderful faith building experience. We are looking forward to hosting the West Virginia Christian Lectureship in 2008. All speakers have been chosen and topics assigned. We will be sharing more information on this very shortly, Lord willing. Our brethren at Pennsboro are certainly doing a wonderful job getting the word out for the lectures series there this month. We pray for their success in this endeavor. The paper continues to be well received here each month. We encourage you to keep up the good work. Warren F. Kenney, Central church of Christ, 90 Waverly Ct.

INDIA - ... I am Joseph Solomon Ghorpade, an Rural Evangelist of Church of Christ, have been doing the Will of the Lord, along with 20 co-workers. I am extremely sorry, as I could not write to you till today. As most of the time, I stay with village people and in villages of Ranga Reddy District, in Andhra Pradesh State, in South India. I am much thankful and deep-gratitude for your great help of your monthly published West Virginia Christian magazine ... We have been receiving this thought-provoking, wise and inspiring and edifying in the Word, educative paper and I share with my people ... It is a life-line for me and for our team of co-workers. ST. MARYS, WV 26170 - ... We really enjoy "WV Christian." When we finish reading, I pass them on to my dad, L. Doug LaCourse, who still preaches at the age of 89 in Canada where he lives and for a church in MI. Blye Grove, secretary at the Dewey Ave. church of Christ. (Editor's note: We are thankful for these encouraging words. We pray they will help encourage many others to subscribe and to tell others about our effort.)

BARRACKVILLE, WV 26554 In October, Steve Snider, and Peter Ray Cole will be returning to India. The purpose of this necessary trip is to bring the gospel to the lost. India is a "harvest truly plentiful"; sadly, the "Laborers are few." ... Like any good work, it takes financial support to make this work a success ... Your money will help to purchase bicycles for local Indian ministers (their primary mode of transportation), provide clothing and supplies for the orphanages support by the Lord's church, and facilitate gospel meetings with the lost who are thirsting for the gospel. With your financial help, many souls can be "added to the Lord's church daily." -Steve Snider, Peter Ray Cole. Please pray for us. Barrackville church of Christ, c/o India Mission Fund, PO Box 753. HUTTONSVILLE, WV 26273 Things are going well with the prison ministry. There are a lot moving to other institutions, especially St. Marys. I am hoping and praying that a ministry will be started there since Christians are there ... I figure before too many months I will be transferred ... I am trying to get the ministry here as strong as possible and Ron Reeves has such a wonderful personality and knowledge of the Word of God and that is very good. I keep you both in my prayers with the work at Salem and WVC. Thank God for your love for your fellow man and reaching out with the truth. The question articles are very good and might be a part that could be expanded in the WVC. The Science ones are also very good showing the great power, complexity, and knowledge of our Creator.
