As we walk this world below
Paths of trial, pain, and woe
But on high no tear shall fall
Around God’s throne we’ll know it all
Our Lord endured that bitter tree
A crown of thorns, humility
That we may dwell with God above
Safe in His arms of peace and love

But through His word Christ offers me
