2010 WV Christian Lectureship

In just a little under three months it will be time for the lectureship. We are excited to be hosting this year’s lectureship at the Weirton Heights church of Christ. This is our first attempt at such an effort. We appreciate so much the assistance we have received from our brethren in regard to this great effort.
In the December issue of this fine paper, brother Terry Jones stated, “A good church is needed to begin the second decade of this great lectureship.” We are anxious to start this second decade beginning September 26—29th.
To begin this decade, we request your prayers and support by attending as many days as possible. The speakers selected reflect some of the greatest minds in our brotherhood. All who attend will certainly be blessed. Our twenty plus speakers are men and women proven capable to speak on the selected topics.
This year we will be having a ladies' class Monday thru Wednesday. Speakers for these classes will be Sandra Jones, Imogene Aebi, and Nita Faye Leach. Please see our schedule for each respective speaker’s day.
We will be providing supper this year, or, if you wish, we have a number of restaurants in our area. Special room rates are available at the Baymont Inn, Three Springs Drive, for those needing accommodations. Call 304-723-0050 and mention the lectureship at the Weirton Heights church of Christ to receive the special rate.
Our theme, “Prepare to Answer,” will deal with many of the questions we all face today. I know that after listening to these lessons we will all be strengthened and have more confidence in our walk with God.
