PURSLEY, WV - Nina and I are well into our fifth year of labors with the Pursley congregation. The church is at peace and still enjoying a solid growth. Our Lord is truly blessing us in so many ways. When we began our work here at the beginning of 2006, we only had about fifteen to twenty people in attendance, an offering of about $250.00, with no children present at all. Last Sunday we had ninety-two present! Our average is between seventy and eighty. Our offerings now average about $1200.00. We now have loads of young families with children everywhere! For the past three years we have benefited from our new multi-purpose facility in so many ways. During the next few weeks we have a Mission Sunday planned, followed by a Christian Education Sunday, a gospel meeting with Marvin Greene, Ladies Inspiration Day with Jessie Ice as the speaker, and a Vacation Bible School. A Friday Night Sing rounds out the summer in August. I have never enjoyed life and my labors for the Master more than I am right now! BUCYRUS, OH 44820 – The Lincoln Ave. church of Christ will celebrate their 50th Anniversary May 16-18 and they invite everyone to attend.
